MT Thunder 3 SV Pro Blaze A7 – Motorcycle Riding Helmet

The MT Thunder 3 PRO SV is a highly popular, entry-to-mid-level full-face motorcycle helmet engineered by Spanish manufacturer MT Helmets. It balances track-inspired aerodynamics with everyday commuting practicality, making it a staple choice for sport and street riders alike.

Safety & Build Quality :

• Shell Composition : The outer shell is built from high-impact molded polycarbonate rather than cheaper ABS plastics, helping distribute impact forces more efficiently.
• Multi-Density EPS : Features a first-in-class dual-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) inner liner for optimized shock absorption.
• Safety Ratings : The helmet holds strong global certifications including DOT (US), ECE R-22.05 (EU), and ISI 2015 (India). It famously earned a 4-star SHARP rating from the UK Government, verifying its high level of crash protection.
• Two Shell Sizes : Unlike budget helmets that use a single shell size with varying padding, it comes in two distinct shell sizes to prevent smaller riders from experiencing a “bobblehead” fit.

Aerodynamics & Ventilation :

• Drag Reduction System (DRS) : Drawing from MotoGP engineering, the helmet features a wind-tunnel-tested split spoiler design rather than a traditional aesthetic fin. This functional system minimizes helmet lift and keeps the rider stable at higher highway speeds.
• Airflow Management : An advanced multi-ventilation system utilizes multiple intake vents on the chin and forehead paired with custom exhaust ports to pull hot air out.

Visor System :

• Dual Visors (SV) : The “SV” tag stands for Sun Visor. It features a main clear outer visor alongside a retractable, optical-grade, UV-treated inner drop-down sun visor.
• Pinlock Ready & QRS : The outer visor is Pinlock-ready for anti-fog inserts and uses a Quick Release System (QRS) for effortless, toolless removal.
